The UC Davis Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS-Davis) and the team at the Plug-in Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Research Center have developed EV Explorer, a new website that helps prospective EV buyers browse through their options to see how a plug-in electric car might fit into their lives, and how different EV and gas-powered models stack up against each other.
The website is designed to help people compare up to 4 different vehicles, including gasoline and plug-in electric vehicles, and to find out how much they can save on energy cost by using EVs. Just put in your destination and frequency of travel and the yearly costs will instantly appear for four common vehicles. You can specify your charger access to get an accurate cost for public charger use.
